This card that I posted yesterday is a Featured Spotlight Card for last Wednesday's sketch (SQSC31) at Stampin' Queens.
Thank you to Stampin' Queens for choosing my card!

Another challenge - Stampin Queens Sketch Challenge SQSC 31
Yes, it's me, again!, with another challenge. This is the last Sneak Peek as I need to save the excitement for April 1st. I needed to make a card last week, and saw this Stampin Queens Sketch Challenge which was perfect for my design idea. So here is my entry for SQCS 31!
Stamp Set: Bright Blossoms
Card Stock: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Glossy White (for the fussy cut vase with flower to give it a glossy look)
Ink: Stampin' Write Markers - Real Red, Garden Green, Basic Black
Accessories: Basic Black Satin Ribbon, Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Punches - Large Scallop Circle, 1-3/4" Circle, Scallop Trim Border
I have to work on my photography, or maybe white is more difficult, because it just isn't showing that I used Stampin' Dimensionals between the card base and the background, underneath the scallop circle and then the vase if affixed to the scallop piece with Stampin' Dimensionals. It just looks so must better IRL!!!
Here is the sketch:
So head on over to Stampin Queens Sketch Challenge to see what the design team and other entrants did with this sketch.
Keep on stampin'!

Freshly Made Sketches #27 - Stampin' Up! Bright Blossoms
I haven't had time to participate in Freshly Made Sketches lately, even though the sketches are terrific. As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew it would be perfect for my Sneak Peek of the Stampin' Up! Summer Smooches promotion. My order didn't arrive until a few days ago and I've been busy, but I manged to get one made just in time. This card is for Freshly Made Sketch #27.
Stamp Set: Bright Blossoms, Petite Pairs (Greeting)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Glossy White
Accessories: Rhinestones; Designer Series Paper - Summer Smooches; Punches - Large Scallop Circle, 1-3/4" circle, 1-3/8" circle, 1-1/4" circle
The Bright Blossoms stamp set and Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper will be available as a Sneak Peek 4/1/12 -
4/31/12 and then in the new Stampin' Up catalog 6/1/12 - 5/31/13)
This photo could be better, but it will have to do for now. I will replace it later when I have more time.

Stampin' Up! Mouthwatering and Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder
We made these cards at my Stampin' Up! upline's monthly meeting. We used the Mouthwatering Stamp Set from the 2012 Occasion Mini Catalog (available until 4/30/2012). We used a new product, Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder, on the stamped image. It is available in delicious scents, Vanilla, Melon and Cherry.
Card stock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon - Basic Black; Designer Series Paper - Berry Blossoms
The stamps were colored with Stampin' Write Markers and stamped on the Whisper White cardstock.
When the ink was dry, we used a Versamarker to cover the "edible" part of the image so that the emboss powder would stick to it, and then sprinkled it with the Scented Stampin' Emboss Powder. It was heat embossed with a heat gun.
The colored layer on this card is Calypso Coral cardstock.
Well it is time for some shut eye! TTYL!

Stampin' Up! Tea Shoppe
I really enjoyed making
this set of cards that features the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set and Twitterpated
Designer Series Paper. I used this set
because it was featured in the February tutorial of a 3 month subscription I
purchased from Chat Wszelaki at Me, My Stamps and I. I want to to give a
shout out to Chat because her tutorials are very well done and reasonably
priced.
I changed out a few
things, primarily the color scheme, because I didn’t have enough Pool Party card
stock to make 4 sets of the cards and I wanted to use the Pleated Satin Ribbon. Also, I wanted to showcase my favorite papers
from Twitterpated Designer Series Paper.
(The Stampin' up! Tea Shoppe set and Twitterpated Dedsigner Series Paper are featured on every card, so I will not list them in the "recipes.")
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Rhinestones; Ruffled Ribbon - Island Indigo; Punches - Boho Blossoms, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border; Framelits - Labels Collection.
The Baja Breeze Layer on the sentiment is cut from the same size Framelit Label die, and then cut in half and placed behind the white layer.
Card stock: Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestones; Stitched-Poly Ribbon - Blushing Bride; Stampin' Write Markers - Blushing Bride, Lucky Limeade; Punches - Word Window; Framelits - Label Collection; Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Stripes
The teacup is a mini card. I stamped it on a folded piece of card stock with the tea cup handle close to the edge. Then I cut out the tea cup, cutting both layers together so they would match perfectly.
Card stock: Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Lucky Limeade
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Pearls; Pleated Satin Ribbon - Blushing Bride; Boho Blossoms Punch; Framelits - Labels Collection
Card Stock: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride
Ink: Baja Breeze, Basic Gray
Accessories: Pearls; Pleated Satin Ribbon - Blushing Bride; Punches - Large Oval, Scallop Oval; Framelit - Labels Collection

Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration Cards - Birthday, Friendship and Easter
I meet every month with two other local Stampin' Up! demonstrators to have fun stamping and to swap cards. I am a bit late with these because they feature Sale-A-Bration rewards, which will not be available after 3/31/12. However, I am sure many of you will use your stamp sets long after that and you can substitute other designer paper.
This Friend card was made by Patti Beachy.
Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede and Calypso Coral
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede
Accessories: Designer Series Paper - Everyday Enchantment (Sale-A-Bration reward), Mini Brads, Punches - Scallop Trim, Postage, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Small Oval
The next two cards were made by Kathy Braine.
The first card is an Easter card that features the new Stampin' Up! Framelits Label Collection and the Sizzix Lattice Die. She used a smaller size Framelit to cut out the middle to make the big frame. The cross was made with the lattice die. She die cut the lattice and then cut away sections to make the cross.
Stamp Set: He Is Risen
Card stock:Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party
Accessories: Pearls, Twine - Lucky Limeade, Framelits - Label Collection, Sizzix Lattice Die, Designer Series Paper - Everyday Enchantment (Sale-A-Bration reward)
The next lovely card has a vintage feel and features the Sizzlets Paper Doily Die.
She stamped images from Fresh Vintage and Baroque Motifs on Whisper White card stock. The Hello Doily was stamped on top of those images with Versamark Ink and then heat embossed with White Embossing Paper. She sponged black ink all over the card stock to make the doily image pop.
She finished off the card with rhinestones and the organdy ribbon. The Framelits Labels Collection dies were used to make the greeting.
If you like the stamp set or designer paper, get it now, it will be gone on March 31, 2012!
I will be back with some cards made with the Tea Shoppe Set and a sneak peek from Summer Smooches, coming to you on April 1.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Event - Floating Reinker and Polished Stone Techniques
Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, Ribbon & Brad |
Here is the sample I made for the Polished Stone technique. It also features some Sale-A-Bration rewards - Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, and the Ribbon & Brad Pack.
Stamp Set: Sweet Cake (sentiment)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Glossy White, Calypso
Classic Ink Refills: Calypso Coral, Pool Party
I took pictures of some of the cards that my customers made. This shows how different the Polished Stone will look depending on the amount of reinker that is used and how much it is rubbed into the cardstock.
.
We also did the Floating Reinker technique. Here is the class sample which features the Bordering on Romance stamp set from the 2012 Occasions Mini catalog.
Stamp Set: Bordering on Romance
Card Stock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Shimmery White
Ink: Craft Whisper White
Accessories: Embossing Powder - White; Classic Ink Refills - Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink, Certainly Celery, Gardne Green; Framelits - Label Collection; Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Tulip Frame
Here a few made by customers. Some chose to use Fifth Avenue Floral instead of Bordering on Romance.
Sale-A-Bration ends March 31, 2012, so there isn't must time left to earn those Sale-A-Bration rewards.

My very first blog award!
I'm so excited to receive my very first blog award! Stacy at Stacy's Stampin' Spot gave me the Leibster Blog Award. I was little curious to know what it is and where it came from. I found out that it started out in Germany (who knew, LOL); according to Google Translate it means "favorite or beloved;" and it is not limited to crafting/papercrafting/rubber stamping, it is for any subject.
The purpose of the award is to bring attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers, and they then pay it forward by passing the award on to 5 other small blogs.
Here are the Rules of the Liebster Award:
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them. Thank you Stacy!
2. Reveal your five picks for the award and let them know.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the supportive people out there in Blog Land!
5. Finally and the best rule of all ........... have fun and spread the love!
Here are the five blogs that I have chosen. Click on over to their sites, look around and don't forget to become a Follower. There are so many great blogs out there, it really was hard to choose.
1. http://idreamcreateinspire.blogspot.com Nicki Scheck
2. http://ginataylor.wordpress.com Gina Taylor
3. www.stampingwithmia.com Maria Pobre
4. http://stampinbythebay.blogspot.com Karen Squires
5. http://photovidal.blogspot.com Tracey
Don't forget to let them know I sent you!

Happy St. Patrick's Day very late...
I got behind on my blogging because I was sick for almost 2 weeks. I had only enough energy to go to work and get ready for my Annual Sale-A-Bration event which I will tell you about tomorrow. I had time to make two cards this year, so only my Mom & Dad and one other person got a card this year.
I didn't have much time to get this together and I don't have a current St. Patrick's Day stamp, so I dug into my stash and found this very coveted set called Lucky Me! I was so lucky (:-) to get it for a decent price a few years ago.
Rainbows are a popular theme for this holiday so I represented the rainbow with ROY G BIV colors (Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Marina Mist, Island Indigo, and Elegant Eggplant) of card stock cut with the Sizzix Tasteful Trim die. I stamped the little shamrock background stamp all over Whisper White Card Stock to make the background paper. I glued my "rainbow" strips on it and then mounted it on a Garden Green Cardbase. I stamped the greeting and punched it with the Designer Label Die. I punched two more Designer Labels from Garden Green. I cut one in half lengthwise and the other crosswise, and layered them behind the stamped punch to form a frame. The pearls were colored with a permanent marker.
So... Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, a little bit late!

Happy Birthday cards
My Stampin' Up! upline holds monthly meetings, but I don't go very often because they are 1 1/2 hours away. She was going to show new products from Leadership this time, so my friend Kathy and I decided to go and we joined in the swap. I will show you several each day until you have seen all 10 of them. Today I am showing the Birthday Cards which feature products from the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration free products catalog.
The first card features the new Sizzix Paper Doily Die, one of my favorite items in this Mini Catalog.
